Earlier this year, I had the privelege of creating some content for Wacom – a company that I endorse for so many good reasons. Not only do they create a quality product, they seem to genuinely nurture emerging artists in their community and social media posts.
At the time, I was still working for CGCookie and I was in talks about creating CGCookie specific content featuring their products, but I was let go around March this year. However Wacom was STILL keen on working with me, and we pivoted to creating a handful of short, Blender-specific videos using a Cintiq Pro Touch 17″.
I was sent the device in lieu of payment, which retails for around $4000AUD. I was added as a collaborator to the Youtube videos also. It was a fulfilling and positive project to work on, and the people at Wacom – both from the home office and the regional marketing team – are extremely supportive, lovely and genuine people.
Here is the content I produced:
I look forward to future colaborations with Wacom. I also hope if you’re a Blender user, you get some good information from the above videos!
